Ramen again...

Just had Tonkotsu ramen at Ichibantei, Robertson Quay for lunch. Yummy AND salty. I like the fact that its not packed like Santouka and its tonkotsu is not diluted like many others. Good enough for a few more visits. nom nom nom nom nom...

On the other hand last week's visit to Baikohken, Boat Quay/Circular Rd area was just OKAYYYY.... large portions, nice ice water infused with roasted tea/barley(?) but the soup could've been more robust. Or... I should've taken the miso version rather than the shio. Will try the miso when I ever get around that area again.

No pictures of the ramen eaten, as I don't really have a habit of taking shots of food porn outside of home. Hmm.... maybe I should utilise the Fujifilm F30 more often.

And... More homemade ramen at home, shot with the Fujifilm F30. Enough of ramen already... :P

kman: hahahaha... after eating Ichibantei, I damn low morale lah.... I can never brew a tonkotsu like that everrrrrr.....

I must go back to Ichibantei and try the tonkotsu...last time only got to smell it from a neighbouring table!

Baikohken's ramen is the least salty/thick of them all. The shio version I had to add the spicy miso on the table to perk it up.

hahaha... philip you'll taste my ramen when i can get that damn tonkotsu to be thick and tasty. right now... FAIL!

nic, welcome! i need to try tanpopo again. Only eaten their tonkotsu ramen once, need to eat it again. I didn't like miharu the first time but that was cos i had miso tonkotsu. Yesterday i had the plain shio tonkotsu and it was superb.

Whuaaa! Looks like we should do a Ramen Roundup! See which store has best! :D

But funny leh, Tampopo is at the bottom of my list. Is worse than Ajisen, methinks.
